I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, one of two siblings of which I was first. My mom and dad have transitioned in 2006 and 2007 respectively leaving me, my sister and niece to hold down the family legacy.
I began my entrepreneurial career at the age of seven selling lemonade to neighbors and passersby. Something about having my own money felt good and I could buy my own toys. I graduated to selling other things like rocks I collected at the beach and painted for “door stops”. I did pretty well paving the way to earn more down the road. For a kid that felt good.
In high school my interests were sports, swimming, and music. I was varsity cheerleader as a freshman and co-captain all four years. I continued on to be a cheerleader into my third year of college. Well, after years of rah-rah sis boom bah I realized cheer leading would not be the career for me.
Fast-forward….the positions I held as an adult in the corporate arena ranged from Administrative Assistant, Pharmacy Lead Tech, Property Manager, Accountant and currently Auditor. I was laid off twice in my life, once in 2003 and again in 2010. During the last lay-off I experienced an aha, light bulb moment. Having a “J.O.B.” is not security! By the grace of God, I was back to work in 2011 and have been employed in a government position since then. But….
Enough is enough I have had it! I am an avid reader, attend seminars, conferences and heard way too many times that “due to the economy, you better have your own HOME BASED-BUSINESS”. Darn, there goes those lights again. Instead of refuting the “brilliant” signs, signals and tugs in my spirit I listened. Set and determined to do something different to get different results.
I have an “A-type” personality and lots of energy! My goal is to channel the energy in positive directions to the abyss of being in unfulfilled nine to five position feeling like a caged bird. My purpose is to discover what I really should be doing and do it! I know the benefits of abundance will surely follow.
Began my entrepreneurial career at the age of seven selling lemonade to neighbors? You are really great!

And I hope, no: I am sure you will know the benefits of abundance.
